Land Management & Forestry
Timber, wildlife, water and the physical upkeep in between — handled under one plan, by one team, across thirty-one counties.
Watch
Burning in February, planting in March, cruising in summer, harvest in the fall. This is what the retainer actually looks like.
Six Disciplines
A stand is an asset with a harvest calendar. We manage the calendar.
Habitat is built, not hoped for.
The unglamorous work that protects the value.
A pond is either managed or it is a puddle with fish in it.
Buyer and seller representation on ground we understand.
One plan, one contact, one invoice — a year ahead.
Timber Management
Most landowners find out what their timber was worth after they sold it. We inventory first, model the rotation, and time the sale to the market rather than to a phone call from a buyer. Sales are bid competitively and administered to the contract, and we are on the ground while the crew is.
Wildlife Services
Our wildlife work starts with a biologist walking the property and ends with a plot map, a burn schedule and a stand plan you can hand to anyone. Deer, turkey, quail and waterfowl each want something different from the same acreage, and the plan has to say which one you are managing for.
Land Management
Lines that are not painted get moved. Roads that are not maintained get impassable in February. Gates that do not lock invite everything you do not want. This is the physical upkeep that makes a tract usable now and sellable later.
Fisheries
We build ponds that hold water and manage ponds that already do. Electrofishing surveys tell us what is actually in there, which is almost never what the owner thinks. From there it is stocking ratios, feeding, aeration and vegetation control.
Land Brokerage
We broker timberland, recreational tracts, plantations, farms and rural homesites in Georgia and South Carolina. Every listing gets a timber opinion, a GIS map set, aerials and a marketing package before it goes live. Roughly a third of what we sell is placed with a buyer we already know before it reaches the MLS.
Stewardship Retainer
Burning, plots, roads, lines, plantings and the timber calendar — scheduled twelve months out and billed annually. Most owners spend less than they were spending on reactive work.
